Dr. Godwin grew up on the creeks and beaches of Charleston, SC.

His love for science and technology helped forge his way through degrees in chemistry and biology from the College of Charleston… This text opens a new tab to the College of Charleston website…. In 1998, he moved to the upstate and began practicing dentistry in Simpsonville, SC.

Over the years, dentistry has become a marvelous avenue to continue his educational endeavors. He has gained hundreds of hours of continuing education on an annual basis.

Dr. Godwin believes that having a strong foundation of knowledge and experience allows him to provide you with more options, in turn, creating better results.

He focuses on making you feel at home when you come for your dental visits and works hard to give you the attention you deserve.

Dr. Godwin professes that the friendships he’s built with patients and their families are one in a million. Helping so many wonderful people in our community is undoubtedly the best part of his job.

It also helps that his wife, Andi, shares the same passion for dentistry and quality patient care. She is an excellent asset to our dental team.

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Godwin spending time with Andi and their three children, who all have many interests ranging from sports, school, and church. He also enjoys wakeboarding on the lake, mountain biking with friends, and photography, which explains why our office is decorated with numerous wildlife photos.

Dr. Shawn Boudreaux was born and raised near Lafayette, LA.

He initially thought he wanted to go into engineering because of his love for science and all things technical. But he felt like something was missing: he wanted to help people.

As a young adult, Dr. Boudreaux faced many unique dental experiences, such as braces at 20 years old and jaw pain at 23 years old. He always found people in the dental field to be compassionate and life-changing, and soon realized this was his calling: a dentist.

Dr. Boudreaux’s journey to becoming a dentist included a DDS from LSU School of Dentistry… This text opens a new tab to the LSU website… and a one-year residency at New York University… This text opens a new tab to the NYU website…. He gained skills in implant dentistry and oral surgery and certification in dental implants and IV sedation.

After searching the country for a better place to live and practice dentistry, Dr. Boudreaux and his family moved to Greenville, SC.

Now, our Simpsonville dentist is passionate about helping patients overcome their fears so they can finally get the dental care they deserve.

Dr. Boudreaux strives for excellence in honor of his parents. His selfless trait comes from his mother, who never said “no,” and his determination to better the lives around him comes from his father, who worked every day for 20 years.

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Boudreaux with his wife, Brook, and their five children. He also enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and football, hiking, camping, fishing, and reading classic fiction and nonfiction literature.
