Reduce Fear

Relaxing

With the help of the sedative and your caring dentists, you’ll feel super relaxed and may even fall asleep during treatment.

Faster Treatment Time
Because you’ll be so relaxed, your dentist can get more work done in one sitting. That means less dental visits for you!

We Offer 2 Types of Sedation Dentistry

Adapting to your comfort levels to achieve a healthy smile without the fear.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, offers a light level of sedation.

You’ll inhale through a nose piece and immediately feel more relaxed. You’ll be awake during your procedure, and will still be able to communicate with us.

Once you’re done with treatment, the gas will wear off immediately, and you’ll be able to drive home.

IV Sedation

This form of sedation is administered through an IV. It’ll put you in a deep state of relaxation that you might fall asleep.

We partner with a nurse anesthetist to ensure you’re comfortable and safe during your procedure.

Afterward, you’ll have no memory of the procedure, and you’ll likely feel a little groggy. Someone will need to drive you home.

‘‘Dr. Godwin and his staff are exceptional! We first went there 5 years ago when my daughter had an emergency and they were the only ones who would fit us in and help. Now we’re a whole family of loyal patients and they have gone above and beyond for us many times. We love Simpsonville Dental Associates!’’
